New Release: So Steady by Eve Dangerfield + Review!

So Steady
by Eve Dangerfield

Nicole DaSilva keeps her mind on the future. That’s where her perfect life is. At least it will be if she can sort out her broken engagement, get her tattoo removed, control her wayward sisters and catch the person stealing from their business…but that’s easier said than done. Especially when there’s a huge, strangely attractive tattooist in her way...

Noah Newcomb keeps his mind on the past. It’s where the demons come loose. He trusts no one and his only plans are for a vasectomy. He and Nicole make as much sense together as, well, an ex-con and a former school captain, but he's never been one to turn down a rebound thing. Especially not with a girl as Type A hot as her.

It's your standard ‘say anything to my sisters and I'll call the Australian Tax Office and tell them there's $500,000 in cash under your bed' affair, but as Nicole and Noah hook up it's clear they’re falling for each other. Can they meet in the present? Do they have a shot at something steady?

Review:

4 stars

This was a good book! So Steady is book two in the Silver Daughters Ink series. This book is Nicole and Noah's story. Nicole is the twin sister of the heroine from book one and a seemingly straight laced accountant. She is back in town to help her sisters save their father's tattoo parlor after he goes missing, leaving behind her cheating fiance. Noah is a tattoo artist that works in the parlor who is hiding a secret past. He is Nicole's opposite, a bad boy who doesn't trust anyone or make connections with people easily. The two have an undeniable, combustible chemistry, though, and find that opposites attract.

I really liked Nicole and Noah. Back with her sisters, away from her fiance, Nicole begins to discover who she really is. The two of them were deep, complicated characters with lots of layers. They had such great chemistry and connection. I enjoyed both of them coming into their own and opening up to begin truly living. I really enjoyed the story. It was sexy, funny and emotional. I am loving this series and the way the ongoing series story arc is heading. I would have liked a little bit more resolution and more time spent seeing Nicole and Noah in a real relationship. But, still, this was a good read.

Overall, this was an enjoyable and entertaining book! I love the DeSilva sisters and I am really looking forward to book three in the series!
