This was a pretty good read, but it was not my favorite of the series (looking at you Shacking Up!). Making Up is Cosy and Griffin's story. Cosy is a college student and virgin who works in a sex toy store. Griffin is a millionaire who works for his family business running a chain of high end hotels. He is in Vegas for a few months as he works at the hotel there. He meets Cosy when he comes into her store to buy a bachelor party gift for a friend. He is interested in her right away and pursues her. Neither of them want a serious relationship, but they have great chemistry. So they agree to a short term fling while Griffin is working in town. But as they spend more time together, they develop stronger feelings and begin to want a future together. They have some pretty big obstacles to overcome before that can become a reality, but they do eventually get their HEA.

I really liked Cosy and Griffin as a couple. They really seemed to love each other, despite a significant age gap. I will say, I liked this book in general, but I felt it had too much drama, breaking up and getting back together, etc. Also, this book had a few tropes that I don't like and maybe wouldn't have wanted to read this book if I had known they were included . I liked the first part of the book before those tropes were introduced much more. The OW (ex) drama continued on to the end of the book. It affected their relationship right up until the last page (before the epilogue), which I felt was such an odd note to end on. I had a hard time feeling strong love between the couple after all that drama happened, which stopped the relationship momentum. The tempo of the book felt off to me, as well. Still, I liked the main storyline of the book and I liked Cosy and Griffin. They were sweet and sexy together. They just had bad luck from their pasts and outside sources which affected their relationship.

Overall, I liked this book, but didn't quite love it. Still, I do enjoy this series. I look forward to more from Ms. Hunting in the future.

We’re a couple of minutes away from my apartment, which also means we’re almost at the end of our date. End-of-date protocol often means a goodnight kiss. And I’ve eaten onions. Lots of them. What the hell was I thinking? I feel around in my shorts pocket, hoping I have a random stick of gum. I find a tiny square packet and pull it out, along with an old tissue. I shove that back in my pocket and sigh with relief as I carefully open the Listerine Pocketpak. There’s one strip left. I pop it in my mouth, wishing I had water since my mouth is dry and I’m suddenly super nervous. Griffin pulls up in front of my apartment building. I swallow a bunch of times, trying to get the strip to dissolve on my tongue and glance out the tinted window, seeing it from his perspective. I don’t live in a bad part of town, but I sure as hell wouldn’t leave this car sitting out here for any length of time unless I wanted it keyed or stripped down. Griffin shifts into park and turns to me, one hand resting on the back of my seat near the headrest. “I had a great time, Cosy.” “Me too, thanks for dinner.” I tried to fork over my share, but he was quick on the credit card draw. “It was my pleasure.” He leans in the tiniest bit, a nonverbal cue that he’s going in for a kiss. I mirror the movement, giving him the go ahead. My stomach flutters in anticipation. I exhale slowly through my nose. Even though the Listerine strip should be doing its job to mask the onions, I don’t want to ruin the moment by breathing that in his face. His fingertips skim my jaw, and I close my eyes. And then his lips brush my cheek. I wait for them to move a couple of inches to the right, but after what feels like a lot of seconds—and is probably only a few—I crack a lid. Griffin is still close, a wry smile on his lips and a smolder in his eyes. “Seriously, that’s it? A kiss on the cheek?” His smile widens, making his eyes crinkle at the corners. He’s nothing like the guys I usually end up on dates with. College boys don’t take things slow. If I were out with one of the guys from school, I’d be sitting in a beat-up Civic with some stupid music playing, and he’d be all over me with his tongue halfway down my throat, copping a feel. “I thought all the onions you ate were the equivalent to garlic for vampires.” Griffin fingers my hair near my shoulder. I’d really like him to finger something else. Wait. I mean I’d like to feel his hands on me. Not in my pants. Okay, maybe I’d like them in my pants, but not after date number one. “I wasn’t thinking, and I really like onions. A lot. In hindsight, it’s not a great date food. I feel kinda dumb. And I guess at first I wasn’t so sure about you. How was I supposed to know you’d actually be kind of normalish?” “Normalish?” “Well, you drink club soda on purpose, so you can’t be all there.” I tap his temple. Griffin circles my wrist with his fingers and drops his head, lips brushing over my knuckle. “We can’t all be perfect, now, can we?” “I suppose not, and perfect is boring.” “That it is.” He hums against my skin, and I feel it through my entire body. “I would like to try that kiss again, if you’re still interested.”

 This was a really good book! Untamed Delights is the last book in the Phoenix pack series, which is my favorite shifter series ever. This is Dominic's long awaited story. Mila is a pallas cat shifter and a singer. Dominic is the flirty, funny enforcer for the Phoenix wolf pack. He sees Mila sing at the shifter club and is interested in her right away. Mila has given up on finding a mate. Her true mate is imprinted to her cousin. She is not interested in him at all, but she does want to be mated so she is considering an arranged mating with a family friend in Russia. But Dominic doggedly pursues her anyway. Mila resists at first, because she knows about Dominic's past as a manwhore, but he shows her he is interested in her alone. As they spend time together and start to fall for each other, it becomes apparent that someone is out to get Mila. When her life is threatened, Dominic shows her that he will do anything to keep her safe and show her his love. 

I adored this book. Mila and Dominic were both great characters and I loved them together. They were a perfect couple- sweet, sexy and funny. There was very little pushing away between them, no real OW drama, awesome chemistry, fun banter and a really good story. The book was nice and long, but they got together and stayed together pretty early and there was no slow burn. There was a good suspense story line, too. Also, I really liked catching up with all the fun characters from previous books in the series. Overall, this was just a really enjoyable read!

Reading this book was bittersweet. I am so sad to see this series end! I loved this book and all the others in this series. The world Ms. Wright has created and her writing in this series is amazing. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

 Only Ever You was a "like it", but not a "love it" for me. I have read many of Ms. Reiss's books and have come to expect them to be angsty, sexy and sometimes dark. I found this book to be very different. Only Ever You is Rachel and Sebastian's story. The two were platonic best friends growing up. Sebastian was a nerd who was often bullied, while Rachel was his protector who stood up for him. The two made a pact/contract then that if they were not married by 30 that they would marry each other. Now, they are both 30 and haven't seen each other since high school, even though their parents still live on the street they grew up on. They run into each other again when both are home for a holiday and they laugh over their old contract. But when their parents find out about it, they are overjoyed and think they are really engaged. When Rachel's mother appears to have had a cancer relapse, Rachel is heartbroken and will do anything to make her mother happy. So she convinces Sebastian to help hide the truth from her mother, planning a fake wedding with him. As they get to know each other again, they begin to fall for each other and the lines between real and fake get blurred. 

I enjoyed this book in general, but it read more like women's fiction to me, than a true romance. It reminded me of Christina Lauren's recent women's fiction books. I am not a huge women's fiction fan and I prefer a higher heat level, but this is not a bad book. The story is a little meandering and slow. There isn't much chemistry for the first half of the book, in fact the book is pretty slow burn and low heat in general. Still, it is sweet and sentimental. I liked Sebastian and Rachel. Sebastian is no longer a wimpy nerd. He is a hot tech genius who owns his own company. Rachel had big plans to be a tv writer, but finds herself fighting for her low level job. When they meet again as adults, they feel an attraction, but both are reluctant to act on it for awhile for various reasons. I found them both to be wishy washy at times, especially Rachel. Still, I liked the way Rachel and Sebastian's story ended up. The ending made their journey worth it. 

Overall, I enjoyed Only Ever You, even if it was totally different than what I expected. Rachel and Sebastian were really sweet together once they were both all in. The ending was cute too. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy a slow burn, friends to lovers story.

And after their one-night stand, Kelsey’s pregnant, but she doesn’t know how to tell him. Aaron wants to start a relationship, but he doesn’t think Kelsey wants something long term. Can their fragile romance survive all the half truths and secrecy?

 The Secret Baby was an entertaining read, but I felt it had a few issues. This book is Aaron and Kelsey's story. Kelsey's best friend is getting married. She plans the bachelorette party at a local club for her friend, but when the friend gets sick and bails at the last minute, the party must go on. Kelsey steps in and pretends to be the bride to be as a joke. When the "doctor" stripper she ordered doesn't show up, the club owner calls her friend Aaron, a real doctor, to pretend to be the stripper. In a funny turn of events, Aaron and Kelsey end up having a wild one night stand, only for her to find out later that she is pregnant and she doesn't even know the father's name. Things get really awkward when Aaron turns out to be best friends (and best man) with the groom who is marrying her friend. To make things even more crazy, Kelsey has volunteered to rent out a room to Aaron, before she knows that he is her "stripper" baby daddy. Now, she has to figure out how to break it to him that he's going to be a father, and try not to fall for him along the way. 

I love books with the secret baby trope. They are my catnip so I couldn't help reading this one, but I didn't totally love this book. I felt like it was trying a little too hard to be funny. The comedy of errors became a little ridiculous. Also, the characters were only okay for me. Kelsey's personality was a little abrasive. She was a well-known "manhater" because her ex boyfriend broke her heart. As for Aaron, he was very embarrassed about his job. He was a neurophsychologist, and apparently he was teased that it wasn't a "real doctor", but it sure sounds like a real doctor to me. So I did not get that at all. I also did not like that Aaron pretends to be a big player, bragging about getting all sorts of women, but it is not true. It is just an act. He came off as desperate and lacking confidence. So I didn't love either character at first. I also felt like the book had too much telling vs. showing. We are told that they have gotten to know each other and feel so comfortable it feels like they've known each other forever. But we don't get to experience that ourselves as readers, so it falls flat. I also felt like key moments were skipped over, like Kelsey first thinking she could be pregnant and how she felt or Aaron moving in. Those were missed opportunities to feel a connection to the characters, I felt. 

As the book went on, though, I did enjoy it more and more. It became more serious and emotional along the way, as Kelsey and Aaron developed strong feelings for each other, while she is hiding her pregnancy from him. There were some silly miscommunications, but I found the last 20% of the book to be the best. Aaron and Kelsey turned out to be really sweet together and I did feel the love between them. 

Overall, I am glad I read this book. It was entertaining and had some sweet moments. I enjoyed the way that Aaron and Kelsey's relationship developed. Even if I had a few reservations, I do think this book is worth reading. I will try this author's books again in the future.
