New Release: Hard Love by Sara Ney + Review!

Release Date: November 19

“HARD TO LOVE.”

Hard head. Bad attitude. Terrible boyfriend. That’s what my exes have said about me—but I wasn’t serious about any of them, so what do I care what rumors they spread? What I need is to be left alone; by the press, by the paparazzi, and by women.

Too bad I’m about to be surrounded by them for the weekend. My obnoxious, matchmaking brother is getting married, and he’s doing his damndest find me a wedding date…

“HARD TO FIND.”

That’s what they say about good men—they’re hard to find. Not that when I find one, I’ll be the type he’s looking for; too nice, too ordinary, too boring.

My cousin is getting married, and her fiancé insists on throwing me at his brother. Cold, uncaring professional football player Tripp Wallace would never look twice at a woman like me. Too bad for both of us, I was wrong…

This was an entertaining read. Hard Love is book three in the Trophy Boyfriends series. In previous books, we met Buzz and his brother, who he always fights with, Tripp. This book is Tripp and Chandler's story. Chandler is Buzz's fiance's cousin and she meets Tripp through their numerous wedding festivities. He is grumpy, antisocial, has a crazy family, and is most happy when he's with his dog. Chandler is a good girl from a wealthy family, but a little lost, and she feels forced into working for her family's business. The two rub each other the wrong way when they meet, but some crazy things happen (vague, I know. Sorry). And as they spend more time together, they find they like each other and bring out the best in each other.

Hard Love was a cute, funny read. I enjoyed this story. I liked Chandler and Tripp together. I just felt like the book felt unfinished. The couple took a little too long to get together and admit they didn't hate each other. Their relationship started off pretty rough and Tripp could be a jerk. But I do think they were in "like" by the end. I did like them together and was hopeful that they would last together and not screw it up. But I wasn't entirely sure since they didn't even say I love you. The ending just felt a little too incomplete for my taste.

Overall, I do think this book is worth reading. They are some funny and entertaining moments. I enjoyed catching back up with the previous couples. I do enjoy this series and look forward to more from Ms. Ney in the future.
