All Hartley Farren has in the world is the charter sailing business she inherited from her beloved father. So when a storm damages her boat, she throws herself on the mercy of business acquaintances to do the repairs—stat. She never expected to find herself desiring the sexy, hard-bodied builders, but being around Jonathan and Cruz reminds Hartley of how much she longs for connection. EXCERPT:

From Laura Kaye:
I’m thrilled to be celebrating the release of my super hot and emotional Theirs to Take, the next erotic standalone romance in my Blasphemy series, about the twelve Masters who run and play at Baltimore’s most exclusive club. Theirs to Take is a sexy menage about what happens when two prior navy best friends and business partners meet a woman who makes them admit to desires they’ve never before voice. I think you’re going to love Jonathan and Cruz! I know I adored writing them! Even more fun, there are characters and scenes in Theirs to Take that cross over with the amazing Jennifer Probst’s brand new Reveal Me – and the best part is that both are standalones so you can dive right in!

Now, read in for a taste of Theirs to Take…

Standing over the two people who had become his whole life over the past four weeks, Jonathan stroked his cock, more aroused than he’d ever been before. Because this time was laden with emotion. Emotion that they’d all acknowledged, at least to some extent.

“You two look so hot I could get myself off to just the sight of you laying like that. Shoot my load all over you while you fuck each other in front of me.” He shook his head. “Mmm. Another time.” He got to his knees, and then he paused. “Where are you, Hartley? What color?”

She forced her gaze to his and gave him a smile. “Green, Sir.”

Damn, she was doing so good, proving once again how right she was for them. “Making me so proud of you. You’re doing great, you hear me?”

“Thank you, Sir,” she whispered, her expression going soft at the praise.

Her sweetness made Jonathan need her even more. “It’s time for the three of us to come together, all at once. Just like this.”

“Fuck, Jay, you need to get in her,” Cruz said, his hands moving over her breasts, her stomach, and reaching down to where Jonathan was lining his cock up at her pussy.

“Yes,” Jonathan said, entering her and finding her tighter than ever before. But she was so wet that her slickness eased the way.

“Oh, my God!” she cried. “Ohmigod, ohmigod.”

Jonathan released a harsh breath. “Where are you, darlin’?”

“Green. I’m green. It’s so good but it’s so much,” she babbled.

“Take us, baby. Take both of us,” Cruz rasped. “Do you feel that? Jonathan rubbing against me through you?”

Hartley’s writhed. “Yes, I feel it. I feel everything.” She reached a hand down to her clit.

Jonathan pushed her touch away. “Your orgasms are ours to give tonight.” He grinned at her whimper, and then he was the one spilling a harsh groan of need, because he bottomed out inside her. She’d taken them all—of course, she’d really done that days ago when she’d taken their hearts. A realization that put words on the tip of his tongue. Words he hadn’t yet said. But just then, Jonathan could only manage to say one thing. “Hartley,” he rasped.

“Move, please. I need to feel you move in me,” she pleaded.

“God, she begs so pretty, Jonathan. Give her what she needs,” Cruz said.

REVIEW:

3-3.25 stars

***

This book was pretty good, but I had a few issues with it. This is Johnathan, Cruz, and Hartley's book. Johnathan and Cruz have been best friends for years. They served in the military together and now own a boat restoration company together. They also are 2 of the twelve masters/owners of the Blasphemy BDSM club, where they play and dominate subs together. They have also secretly bee in love with each other, but have both been afraid to act on their feelings towards each other. Hartley is a boat owner/captain, who runs tours and boat trips as a job. After a storm damages her boat and livelihood, Hartley meets Johnathan and Cruz. Johnathan is immediately interested and attracted in her and he offers to fix her boat. Cruz is more reluctant because he feels like he will lose Johnathan to Hartley. But as the trip begins to spend time together, they fall for each other.

I went into this book thinking that it was an MFM menage, but it turned out to be an MMF menage, which is not really my favorite. In this case, the men had been best friends and secretly in love with each other for years. They had "played" doing MFM menage scenes at the club for years as well. But they never talked about or acted on their feelings until Hartley came into the mix. Once they opened up to each other about their feelings, I just felt like they didn't need Hartley. I just had a hard time feeling like they would ever love her as much as they love each other. I always have this problem with menage where one couple adds a third partner, which this couple did emotionally. I felt like some issues having to do with a threesome were swept under the rug or ignored.

All three of the characters were a little bland. None of them had strong personalities or much depth. That made their love not very believable. I never really felt it. There is very little BDSM in the book. Only one scene was at the club and it was in a private room. I was expecting, and wanting, the men to show more dominant behavior over Hartley, as their submissive.

Overall, I would say this book was mostly just okay for me. I liked it but didn't love it. I had been looking forward to this book because I normally enjoy menage books and I have enjoyed all of the books in the series. I was disappointed and felt like this was the weakest book so far. There was nothing bad about it, but also nothing very special. Still, this is a low angst, sexy read and is well worth reading.
