Wow. What can I say about this book without giving anything away? This is a hard review to write! I thoroughly enjoyed this duet. Jewel E. Ann amazes me with her originality every time I read a new book by her. She definitely is the most original writer I have ever read. Always unpredictable. This book has intrigue, suspense, mystery, humor, sweet and sexy moments, along with some emotional and heartbreaking moments, but love triumphs in the end. Epoch explores fate and spirituality, along with the theories of past lives and reincarnation.
I really enjoyed Swayze's growth and maturity over the course of this duet. She went through a lot and learned from what happened and from her mistakes. Actually, I was happy with all three main characters growth over the duet and they all ended up in a good place. I was happy with how everything turned out in the end. There were a few things that bothered me and that I didn't love along the way, but I was satisfied with the place that everyone ended up and that Swayze got the HEA she wanted. The epilogue was sweet too. Overall, I'm not sure there is anything I can say that will do this story justice without spoiling it. Swayze's story is an epic journey that transcend's time. The Transcend Duet is a series you have to experience for yourself. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
