He's drafting plans to seduce you.
The Architect by Nikki Sloane is now live!
On the surface, my new boyfriend is a stiff, buttoned-up architect. He plans every detail of his life while carefully maintaining the walls he's built around his heart. But when the biggest project of his career pulls him away, Clay's solution is both temporary and unconventional. It even comes with a name--Travis.
This handsome stranger is sweet and thoughtful. He's only meant to be a stand-in, to fulfill my sexual needs under Clay's watchful direction, yet these two men couldn't be more different. The one thing they share? Well, I guess that would be me.
One gets off on my pain, the other on my pleasure, and it awakens a desire none of us knew existed. But it can't last.
Eventually I'll have to choose.
And it's going to destroy us all.

I liked this book. It was super hot and sexy. I did think the romance was only okay. As I found in the other books in this series, it felt more like straight erotica than romance. There was a lot of extremely hot scenes, but I wanted a bit more emotion, character depth and connection. I didn't really feel much romance develop or feel the love that I hoped to by the end. I did like the characters in general, though. Lillith was sweet, if a bit aggressive. Travis was charming and easy going. It was easy to see why Lillith liked him. Clay was only okay for me. He didn't show a lot of emotion and could be a harsh dom. But I did like them all together in a relationship by the end (even though I hate the word "throuple"). This was an MFM relationship, with a dash of MMF on the side. I really would have liked an epilogue to see what their future was like together and to feel more secure in the relationship. I did think this book had an interesting, unique story and I was totally sucked in and entertained.
Overall, I did enjoy this book. Travis, Clay and Lillith share some very hot moments and a few emotional, angsty ones. If you are in the mood for an erotic book, look no further. I will forever be a fan of Nikki Sloane and I look forward to more from her in the future!
Meet Nikki
USA Today bestselling author Nikki Sloane landed in graphic design after her careers as a waitress, a screenwriter, and a ballroom dance instructor fell through. For eight years she worked for a design firm in that extremely tall, black, and tiered building in Chicago that went through an unfortunate name change during her time there.
Now she lives in Kentucky, is married and has two sons. She is a three-time Romance Writers of America RITA© Finalist, a Passionate Plume winner, a HOLT Medallion finalist, and couldn't be any happier that people enjoy reading her sexy words.
