This was a really good book! This book will be hard to review without giving away the story so I can't say too much. Just know, this is Ava and Macgrath's story. Ava is a powerful witch and Macgrath is a vampire and former sidekick of the evil Rhiannon. The two have been dancing around each other in the other books in this series and, finally, their attraction and mysterious connection comes to a head.

I have really enjoyed this fun paranormal series! The ongoing series arc and the individual couples stories are so intricate, detailed and interesting! There is so much action, adventure, suspense, humor, emotion, and love woven together perfectly. I loved Ava and Macgrath. There was no doubt that they were true soul mates. They had an epic love story surpassing worlds and time. I definitely felt their love and connection. It did take them until 80% to actually get together physically for sexy times and I didn't even care one bit. I was so engrossed in the story that it didn't matter, which is unusual for me because I don't really love a slow burn. I loved catching up with the other characters from the series. I am intrigued to go back and read Kerry and Finn's story as well (Bewitched, Bothered and Bitten from a previous series). There is so much potential for more stories set in this world with all of the new characters introduced. I can't wait for more from Ms. Wood and this exciting PNR series!
