This was a good book. The Man from Sanctum is book three in the Masters and Mercenaries: Reloaded series and is Deke and Maddie's story. Deke works for McKay- Taggart. He and Maddie were high school sweethearts. Maddie was a super smart, future scientist and was headed to Yale, when Deke broke her heart by breaking up with her. Her heart never truly healed from that and they hadn't spoken since. She now has a very successful career working for Nolan Byrne's company helping in a big rocket project. But when her coworkers start turning up dead, she fears for her life and runs to Deke for help. He is more than willing to help and hopeful for a second chance at love with Maddie.

Wow, this book was a humdinger! LOL There is a big series shift that had me hanging on the edge of my seat at the end. I cannot wait for the next few books in the series. In this book, I really liked Deke and Maddie. They were sweet and sexy together and their story was enjoyable. I wanted a bit more from them, but I felt like their story was a little overshadowed by everything else that was going on with the other characters in the book. Still, I was happy with where they ended up. And I will be waiting with baited breath for Kyle and Maebe's story!

Overall, this was a good read and good addition to the series. I look forward to whatever Ms. Blake comes up with next!
